Recently, 65 faculty members and students from the Materials Science program at Yanshan University visited Tangshan Lihua Ceramic Co., Ltd. and the Chemical‑Physical Ceramics Plant in the Tangshan High‑Tech Industrial Park to conduct an on-site field study.
Company CEO Mr. Zhang led teachers and students on a tour of the full‑process production workshop for physicochemical ceramics and the R&D laboratory, providing a detailed overview of the manufacturing processes, material formulations, and market applications of specialty industrial ceramics and physicochemical experimental ceramic components.
On-site faculty and students engaged in in-depth discussions with the technical team, drawing on classroom theory to address issues such as the enhancement of new material properties and the upgrading of product technologies.
This university–enterprise collaboration has built a communication bridge between academic research and industrial production, seamlessly integrating theoretical learning with practical industry application. Moving forward, both parties will continue to deepen their industry–university–research partnerships, jointly tackle challenging technical issues in new materials, and work together to drive innovation and upgrade the specialized physicochemical ceramics sector.
