Corundum crucible

Corundum crucibles are high‑temperature vessels sintered at elevated temperatures from high‑purity α‑alumina (corundum). They are the most widely used high‑temperature containment containers in metallurgy, analytical laboratories, and the new‑energy sector. Like combustion boats and corundum boats, they are made of the same material but differ in design and application, with distinct shapes and intended uses.

Product introduction

Corundum crucibles are high‑temperature vessels sintered at elevated temperatures from high‑purity α‑alumina (corundum). They are the most widely used high‑temperature containment containers in metallurgy, analytical laboratories, and the new‑energy sector. Like combustion boats and corundum boats, they are made of the same material but differ in design and application, with distinct shapes and intended uses.
Structure and Standard Specifications
1. Main shapes: round‑mouth cylindrical, conical (wider at the top and narrower at the bottom), and square crucibles; most models are supplied with alumina lids made of the same material.
2. Capacity range: 10 mL–2,000 mL; standard sizes include 30 mL, 50 mL, 100 mL, 200 mL, etc.; custom-made large‑size crucibles with non‑standard shapes and perforated crucibles are also available.
Main application scenarios
1. Geological and mineralogical analysis: high-temperature calcination of rocks and mineral powders, as well as fused samples.
2. Precious metal smelting: high-temperature melting of gold and platinum-group metals
3. New Energy Sector: High-Temperature Calcination of Lithium-Ion Battery Cathode Materials, Boehmite Powder, and Ceramic Powders
4. Research Laboratory: Sample calcination in muffle furnaces and tube furnaces, thermogravimetric analysis
5. Glass and Ceramic Sintering: High-Temperature Sintering of Glass Raw Materials and Special Ceramic Powders
