Structural Overview
3.1 This electric furnace mainly consists of several parts: furnace body, heating element, front and rear stainless steel furnace tubes, gas distribution system, pusher, and control cabinet.
3.2 The furnace body includes the furnace shell and furnace lining. The furnace shell is welded from steel plates and steel sections, with a fully sealed structure; the furnace lining is constructed from lightweight refractory materials such as lightweight clay bricks, insulation bricks, and refractory fibers.
3.3 The heating element uses resistance wire. The resistance wire is made of 0Cr27Al7MO2 high-temperature electrothermal alloy wire, and the heating wire is wound around a corundum mullite furnace tube. It is arranged in 3 zones. Each zone's heating element is connected in a single-phase manner and connected to different phase sequences to make the three-phase current basically balanced.
3.4 The stainless steel furnace tube serves as the inlet and outlet chamber of the electric furnace, welded from stainless steel plates. The front and rear furnace tubes are connected to the fully sealed furnace shell. The front inlet tube of the furnace body is approximately 0.68m long, and the rear outlet tube is approximately 0.94m long. Inlet and outlet doors are respectively provided at the front and rear of the furnace tubes. The furnace tubes inside the furnace body adopt a modular segmented structure with stepped connections between the two tubes. The resistance wire is wound around the outer wall of the furnace tube.
3.5 The protective gas used in this electric furnace is H2. An inlet is provided at the end of the outlet tube for introducing protective gas into the furnace; an exhaust port and a pressure gauge are provided at the top of the front end of the outlet tube for exhausting waste gas from the furnace and pressure monitoring. Fire curtains are installed at the inlet and outlet ports to prevent outside air from entering the furnace.
3.6 The pusher is a mechanical structure with variable frequency speed regulation, featuring slow feed, fast return, feed prompt, over-travel alarm, etc. A photoelectric switch is installed at the end of the outlet tube for monitoring and protection.
3.7 The temperature control system uses a thyristor single-phase voltage regulation method to control the furnace temperature, with a total of 3 groups. Thyristor modules are selected as temperature control components; the temperature control instrument uses a Japanese conductive SR3 intelligent temperature controller, which has triggering function, dual digital display, continuous PID regulation, output limiting, over-temperature alarm, broken couple indication, and temperature compensation functions.
3.8 This electric furnace uses a total of 3 nickel-chromium-nickel-silicon thermocouples (K type). The thermocouples are inserted into the furnace chamber from the side but not into the furnace tube.
3.9 The furnace body and support, and control cabinet are silver-gray.
